San Marino - SM
The Market – a luxury shopping mall on the north-eastern border of the Republic of San Marino – will present the Natural Air system with Vicenza stone to achieve the architect's unique vision, incorporating perforations, reliefs and other detailed elements. This large development consists of multiple buildings that wind along the natural topography of the site. Expanded over an area of 25,000 square metres, this project is also environmentally friendly: design and construction are planned according to the rigorous international BREEAM certification. Our production is characterised by quality handcrafted finishes made possible by an experienced and professional team. An innovative solution, in which GammaStone has demonstrated talent and passion. GammaStone's strategy is to pre-assemble all the elements of our plant, leaving the workers only the task of installing them on the substructure of the construction site. This has greatly reduced installation times and ensured a flawless end result.
The Market Luxury Outlet develops as a modern architecture that respects the context of San Marino: forms, materials and colours reflect those characteristic of the capital's historic centre. In addition to the variation of materials, the external façade towards the valley is volumetrically articulated through slight deviations between the different parts. This device emphasises the massive nature of the intervention and allows natural and artificial light to vibrate the façade throughout its entire length. Even in the design of the settlement system, in its shape and form of the individual buildings, simulation models have been used that have allowed us to optimise the opportunities offered by natural agents such as wind, sun and shade, in addition to respecting all other technical and hygienic aspects.
