SeiMilano, a contemporary garden city

GammaStone participates in SeiMilano, a modern urban and landscape redevelopment project in Milan. A contemporary neighborhood, an “inhabited park” at the service of the city. A new place to live, not only for residents but for all citizens.
SeiMilano is the result of the partnership between Borio Mangiarotti and Värde Partners to create a multifunctional district integrated into a park, designed by Studio Mario Cucinella Architects (MC A) and the International Landscape Design Studio Michel Desvigne (MDP).

The design of the exterior is unique and extremely original, characterised by a mosaic of windows and perfectly white façades that come together creating an unparalleled geometric pattern.

Studio Mario Cucinella Architects (MC A)

Mario Cucinella Architects is an architectural and design firm. With an international team of over one hundred professionals including architects, engineers, designers, modellers, and visual artists, the studio – founded in Paris in 1992 – has had offices in Bologna (since 1999) and Milan (since 2018). With projects all over the world, the firm has received over the years numerous national and international awards especially for its attention to environmental issues. In this particular area, MCA makes use of the research developed by the R&D department (Research & Development).

GammaStone UHPC Plus Air

In the choice of materials, the designers have privileged resistance and respect for nature. The exterior cladding of the two buildings is made with the innovative solution GammaStone UHPC Plus Air absolute white Bergen finish. The panels, which reach a maximum size of 4150 x 1650 mm, cover the structure like a real architectural skin.

Unitized Façades

This GammaStone Air cladding solution guarantees a high thermal resistance, contributing to the thermal insulation of the building despite the minimum thickness and high aesthetic value.
GammaStone panels are specifically integrated for unitized façades. All our solutions are studied from the point of view of thermal cutting, mechanical resistance and water sealing. Directly installed on the cell in an engineered way inside our plants, the panel and its system are assembled in the company, allowing savings in terms of installation times and costs during the on-site installation.
