The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City is world-renowned for its architectural significance and beautiful natural travertine façades. The original campus was completed in the 1960s using the 6 cm Light Este travertine mined in central Italy. Over time, the weather has led some areas to require extensive maintenance and replacement. In 2020, therefore, the trustees of Lincoln Center sought a more advanced solution for the replacement while maintaining the original aesthetics and feel of the stone. So the GammaStone Natural Air surface was chosen, using the stone from the same quarry as the original pieces 60 years ago.
