Maltz Performing Arts Center

The Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at Tifereth Israel Temple is a historic place of culture, art and religion on the campus of Case Western Reserve University. The converted synagogue serves as the headquarters of the Case Western Reserve's music department and hosts special campus events. Silver Hall, on the other hand, is still used by the local Jewish congregation for religious and special events. In 2021, a project was completed that added additional spaces for the performing arts. The implementation led to the addition of two theatres, scenography and costume shops, classrooms, warehouses and the offices of the CWRU Theatre Department, which manages the operations of the additional space. GammaStone has developed its collaboration in this context of expansion.
