Without panoramic views to offer hotel guests, the architects decided to focus on interior design. From this necessity, behind a facade of rusticated stones, a courtyard has been designed that surprises guests and welcomes them in the peaceful serenity of soft gray walls, highlighted by hints of green. The building is built almost entirely of concrete, which was cast with sandwich panels, giving the surface the effect of slender bricks. These concrete spaces intertwine in and out in a series of negative and positive spaces, leading to the roof, which has a more traditional impression. The architects explained that they considered every single hotel room as a part detached from the building, therefore, according to them, the hotel is like a small village, where the series of ad-hoc strategies created a unique experience for the customer.all images by jonathan leijonhufvud
