The MSG Sphere in London

The Madison Square Garden Company has unveiled the images of its proposal: MSG Sphere in London. The project provides a new generation concept, totally innovative that seeks to "redefine live entertainment" through a series of technologies oriented towards transformative and engaging connections between artists and the public.

The MSG Sphere in London will have a sister in Las Vegas. Both will be designed by Populous: International company leader in the sector responsible for a large number of stadiums and arenas around the world.

Once completed, the MSG Sphere project in London should have a capacity of 18,000 seats. Inside the dome structure, visitors will experience a unique experience, watch a show with the world’s largest and highest multimedia display, an adaptive acoustics system and next-generation wireless connectivity.

MSG Sphere will be located in the Stratford district, in the east of London, next to the Westfield shopping center, which hosts 45 million visitors a year. In the immediate vicinity of the park that hosted the 2012 Olympic Games, the planned venue will be next to the new Victoria and Albert Museum (V & A) and University College London (UCL).
