Modul GO Project by Max Zhivov

Russian designer Max Zhivov presents his new design for the "Modul GO" project, a houseboat inspired by IKEA’s construction kits for children and flat pack furniture. The yacht aims to be an economic solution for those who want to live in close contact with nature and water, always having the opportunity to change their mobile home with a new design.

The structure has a large variety of modules that can be aggregated, in addition to the two default rooms: a piano bar, the equipment rental point, the seaplane base, the boat supply module, the cargo variant for the transport of goods and small cars. The base platform size is 9 m x 4.5 m and 13 m x 6.5 m.

For the boat are developed 10 types of sections with the dimensions of 2.4 meters in width and 2.3 meters in height. The Modul GO houseboats are equipped with electric motors, solar panels and are completely environmentally friendly. Naturally, the power of electric motors is chosen based on the houseboat model and its functions. the yacht is designed in such a way as to be easily transported by two tracks and quickly assembled by 4 people in 2 days.
