Ecocapsule, the self-sufficient micro-house

Founded in 2015, the Slovak company Ecocapsule has announced the launch in production of the first series of unique and self-sufficient mobile micro-homes. The series is limited to 50 pieces and is intended for buyers who have booked in the United States, Japan, Australia and the EU.

Despite its relatively small size, the energy efficient pod is able to comfortably accommodate two adults. In the house there is an integrated kitchenette that offers running water, while the structure also contains a flushing toilet and hot shower, allowing the occupants to live in a homely atmosphere. In addition to a folding bed, the Ecocapsula also offers plenty of space for sports equipment or research.

Each Ecocapsule is powered by a turbine integrated by a series of photovoltaic cells, while a high capacity battery ensures sufficient power even during periods of low solar and wind activity.
