Johan Kauppi at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2018

Soft colors and precise lines are the strength of this simple but successful design.

The Swedish designer Johan Kauppi, inspired by the winter environment of the Swedish Lapland, proposed at the Stockholm furniture fair his "the barn & fences", literally the barn and the fences, an interesting way to conceive interior design for offices.

"The barn and fences have unique properties including the ability to absorb noise pollution and transparency. ", says Johan Kauppi.

Limbus enclosures can be repeated in rows to divide and define large public offices and interiors. Fences include great stability and flexibility, making the system easy to use when creating temporary areas, walkways, angled shapes or zig-zag corners.
