Tilt Brush, innovation for designers

Google launched Tilt Brush, a powerful tool for designers available for Oculus and HTC Vive. This program allows artists to create 3D objects completely in Virtual Reality (VR).

Tilt Brush transforms any room into a canvas on which to build any design, from the model of a dress to the planimetry of an apartment. Being immersed in a virtual reality allows architects to take advantage of their spatial perception, creating a more real and engaging space.

Launched in 2016 and available in the virtual Steam store, Google’s tool can be used with virtual reality helmets: Oculus or HTC Vive. These models are currently the most powerful in the market and their prices fluctuate between $ 500 and $ 700.

Tilt Brush also has a virtual palette that allows you to work with special color shades to create incredible effects such as snow, smoke and fire. You can also walk around your model, view its details, just as if it is real and not virtual. Lastly, thanks to a recent update, Tilt Brush now lets you export projects and upload them to Blocks, the latest Google application designed to work virtually in a wider way and on multiple models at the same time.
