The Forest’s Shelter

When talking about romantic getaway you might think of great luxury hotels, cruises in tropical seas or snowy peaks of some ski resorts. Wipp proposes a different solution.

Its 55 square-foot "shelter", nestled in the Swedish forest, turns out to be a great alternative to all of the options mentioned above. The idea behind this type of "refuge" has been to provide guests with a real detachment with modern and technological society of every day bringing them back to direct contact with nature.

The design of the shelter is in line with this idea. The colors and materials used lead to a mimicry effect between the refuge and the surrounding nature.

"We wanted to hear birds sing and open skies, to get out of town with everything that’s essential and nothing more," says Morten Bo Jensen, Wipp’s designer. "The refuge is the result of that dream."

The residence is autonomous and can accommodate up to four people. It is furnished with a main bed for two people located upstairs and another, smaller, for two additional guests located lower level. The large windows allow an optimal view of the landscape. Essential but elegant cuisine is linked to a solid and versatile table.

One night in this wonderful refuge costs around 1,000 euro. Of course you need to book in advance.
