Hale Nukumoi Residence

The American studio Walker Warner Architects has designed a large residence in Hawaii, characterized by a large room that opens onto a patio, a swimming pool located in the garden and a spectacular view of the sea.

The Hale Nukumoi residence is located in Kauai, Hawaii. The house is surrounded by palm trees that add privacy to the residents, a courtyard with a swimming pool overlooking the ocean and a privileged entrance to the beach.

The two-storey residence is built in pigmented concrete with dark wood paneling on the top. Inside, the ceilings are covered in wood in order to make the environment in tune with the exposed beams located at the bottom of the eaves. A fenced grassy driveway and a series of steps lead to the main room, which can be opened on either side. This interior-exterior room is located next to a patio, furnished with two large sofas and overlooking the pool.
