Empire City

It was recently revealed the Büro Ole Scheeren project, which will represent a historic novelty for the capital of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City.

The project envisages the construction of three skyscrapers that will appear on a mountain landscape thanks to the installation of raised terraces and public areas. The project, known as "Empire City", aims to develop "a symbiotic vision of nature and living in the city".

It will be built on the central peninsula of the city near to the Saigon River. The complex will be an integrated environment that will provide spaces for living, working and enjoying culture and entertainment. From the terraced podium on which the structure is based, there will be three towers, including the iconic "Tower of the Central Empire 88", which will reach a height of 333 meters. The large tower will contain a variety of different uses, including residences, apartments, hotels, public observatory, and a complex of wavy terraces known as the "Sky Forest".

The "Sky Forest" will actually be a garden where a variety of local flora will be planted, surrounded by water games, offering a panoramic view of the city to both residents and the public. At the culmination of the tower, the "Cloud Space" will provide space for exclusive events with the most spectacular backdrop of the city. The other two skyscrapers will be hosting offices and residential spaces.

The project was developed by Empire City Limited Liability Company, one of the largest real estate companies in Vietnam.
