Apple Park Visitors Center

The visitor center of the new Apple Campus in Cupertino, California, was opened to the public.

Being the public face of a vast complex designed by Foster + Partners, the independent building is "uniquely designed architectural extension" of the companyís new headquarters. "With an aesthetic similar to scales, stone walls, and terrace floors." The carbon fiber roof seems to float, supported only by stone-covered pillars and nothing else.

Guests can climb upstairs on the rooftop terrace, from which you can enjoy the magnificent view of the main building and some of the 9,000 drought-resistant trees in the park. On the ground floor, there is a bar surrounded by olive groves and a shop with the full range of Apple products and exclusive Apple and Apple brand merchandising.

According to Apple, the purpose of the building is to invite "guests to explore Apple Park in an engaging and modern way." This is also thanks to a three-dimensional model of the campus that is "animated by the technology of increased reality": here visitors are able to know the project, its function and the company that commissioned it.
