AZ House

A large white cube, 16 meters side, with recessed windows, sculpted volumes containing suspended gardens and at its highest level, a glass box that houses the toilets of the main suite.

The house is at one end of the vast Jounieh Bay north of Beirut. A densely built and populated area. The house, in fact, overlooks the busy Lebanese coast highway and the first impression that gives the faηade of the house is precisely to defend itself from the chaos of the city and cut out for itself a quiet space.

Whether you speak from the sunken patio on the top floor, the rooftop pool, the long balcony overlooking the living area or the pool cleverly positioned at the edge of the small cliffside garden, the house makes the most of its location. The gaze is constantly projected towards the sea, against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain of Jounieh or the sparkling towers of Beirut on the horizon.
